Buhari’s Journey began in the military, as a Major General, then was made Governor of the Northeastern State before becoming the Nigeria’s Head of State in 1983 after taking power from President Shehu Shagari in a Military coup. By that act, Muhammadu Buhari’s several attempts for Presidency in the recent Democratic Nigeria- became almost an ‘impossible accomplishment.’ As many Nigerians had believed his coming back will be too harmful, knowing him as ruthless and no-nonsense while a military ruler.

In Nigeria the saying; ‘twalee Baba’ goes to show praises to someone who truly deserves it. After his defection from PDP, he joined APC and shoved it to a Political Party of his dreams in 2013. He cried out loud, to Nigerians, over the need to refuse and reject the corrupt practices of PDP.

Thank you, Amaechi- for believing in what you believe in.
2. Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Believe it or Not! The 2015 Nigeria General Elections would not have been interesting as it was, without this man. They called him ‘Lion of Bourdillon’, he never cared! Some called him a ‘thief’ he still never cared! and to some, ‘Godfather’ he bluffed, some media, the richest ‘landlord’ in Africa- surprisingly, he ignored it all. Tinubu paid attention to one thing and one thing only- successful elections in 2015 General elections.
Born more than 60 years ago, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was elected Senator for the Lagos West Constituency in Lagos State, Nigeria in 1993, just before a military take over in December 1993. His long presence in Nigeria’s political body speaks for him. This man is one stubborn and fearless politician- he is equally intelligent and believes that no one should blame anyone for their mistakes, and on that note, Bola Tinubu defending what he believed in, joined the All Progressives Congress, a one time formidable Opposition.

1. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
A man whom gave Nigerians ‘Peace’- Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. He is a very soft and humble man. His conspicuous softness labelled him; ‘a weak President’.
Many believed the name ‘Goodluck’ took him to the apex seat in Nigeria’s leadership- But not the strength in him. A man who would rather prefer to take all blames upon himself rather than faulting someone else. His honesty, humility, over-careful speech, caused him more pain than gain. His presence in Nigeria’s politics was divinely masterminded but he never forgot that!
The widening of his arms in trust to so many, made his political enemies in the opposition to perceive him as being too porous and unskillful. His intelligence made him a successful lecturer and stage-commander but to other of his friends, an average politician. His administration saw more trials than triumphs- as the birth of the Islamic militants became more notorious than ever imagined but he kept holding on.
His fear of God and fear of human being were termed too endangering to lives and properties of the country. The few goods he did were completely overshadowed by the insecurity situation consuming Nigeria. In no time, slowly he lost it all; friends, loved ones. The hatred for this man even grew worse, when he spilled that interest of him coming back as President, Federal Republic of Nigeria. All hell were let lose upon Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. His campaigns could not even hold any water in the northern regions of the country as many were seen gushing out their hates. On the International side, they shared on this pleasure, telling the world how politically weak this gentle man is.
So in 2015 General Elections, nobody saw it coming. His few supporters in the PDP were convinced that GEJ is the people’s choice and he indeed, is coming back as President. But Alas, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan conceded defeat. Averting war and the Armageddon in Nigeria, he goes out of his person, to even call Muhammadu Buhari in a congratulatory message. According to him; ‘nobody’s ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian’
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, became the first African President to concede defeat to an Opposition. He indeed is a peaceful creature!
